We are not a “law school” in the traditional sense. We have no accreditation, nor do we seek any. We grant no degrees. We don’t hold classes. We have no campus. We do, however, strive to promote educational material that we believe to be helpful to business owners and entrepreneurs.
The founder of this blog and the author of many of our blog posts is Robert C. Hackney, an attorney who has practiced corporate and securities law for over 40 years.
This blog is not a promotion for the author’s law firm, and you will not find any reference to the firm or its contact information. The founder is not accepting new clients. The founder is a lawyer, but he is not your lawyer. The founder recognizes that most start-up companies and entrepreneurs who may need legal information the most, can afford it the least. That’s why this is a free resource to provide legal insight to business owners, so that when they do engage an attorney, they will have an understanding of the concepts involved in these processes and be able to communicate from a knowledgeable position. Keep in mind that every situation is unique, and even small variations in fact patterns will change the answer to most legal questions. Please be sure you review our “Terms of Use” section.
